Yes, it’s true, on a global scale I’ve just come back to Germany. But that doesn’t keep me from taking-off soon again. It’s a mix between beeing totally crazy and seeking a job abroad. While it’s not uncommon to leave Koblenz after earning the sought after degree, it’s not too common to work abroad – and going to Singapore “just for a change” after living in Montréal for six months is more like being a globetrotter than a man being in his right mind. But I still go. And I don’t even have my degree yet. Oh Lord.
“I just like to action sometimes”
Between May 14th and June 7th I will experience South East Asia, lie on white sand while watching waves gently rolling in, enjoy Asian hospitality, try to get interviews with several companies and in general be running from air conditioner to air conditioner with my girlfriend, my chio bu. Yeah. “Wenn nicht jetzt wann dann”.
Got card or not? Tiger can!
I booked a flight with one of the best Airlines worlwide, Singapore Airlines. A non-stop flight is nowadays waaay cheaper as a stopover flight to Japan was two years ago, nearly hup ply. The Airline even asked me where I wanted to sit, what I wanted to eat. I went for seafood on the returning flight and for Window seats on both. Not that other Airlines don’t offer the same service, but Singaporair does it with so much style, you just have to love it. About chosing where to sit: Remember – If the bird comes crashing down, the highest chance of survival is above the wings on the Wingbox, if the pilots manage to let the Kerosine out first, otherwise there will be BBQ. Sitting in the back never is a great idea. But if such a bird comes down you generally just go “F*ck” and breathe some more in the oxygen maks before kissing the ground. Not that I am thinking about that, rather I want to find out which movies I should enjoy during the 12hrs flight. Flying is chuay si.
