Before I take off to help those poor underdeveloped countries down there in South Chinese Waters I need to bring the blog up to par with my latest additions to the insanely great photo gallery I proudly call my own. In the course of the past days I uploaded a gigantic backlog of pictures from my six months in Canada. Overall I took around 2000 pictures, many of which are good and some which are really, really great. Now, the problem with the gallery2 system I use it that it’s hard to highlight your favorite pictures without thought manual sorting or intervening with the User experience in a way which I condemn. So far I haven’t found the solution for presenting a selection of my really favorite pictures in a suitable way.
I made a “Best Of” from my Canada pictures, but that still comes down to 32 pages of pictures. Great they are, but not many people will look at them. So as I continue to think about a good solution, you can grep a nice drink, lay the Notebook comfortable on your lap (or relax in front of your screen) and enjoy some amazing pictures of whales, New Yorkers, Dinosaurs, French Canadiens, Crazy Carpeteers, people from all continents, heaps of snow, Montréal life and the breath taking beauty of nature!
