After deep insights into twitter and its social implication in my previous post on to something lighter. Let’s look at some pictures. Recently I travelled to South East Asia (1, 2) for some travelling in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Malaysia. I had three weeks of time and the best tourist guide one can hope for. Of course I had my camera with me and took a lot of pictures, in fact way too many. Now, I don’t want to look through thousands of pictures and decide which ones are good and bad, because my taste tends to be very different than from a great mass of other people. This time I went for another concept: Sort the albums into subject matter. I start off with Hong Kong - the city of life. I think I talked about Hong Kong before and how it just blows everything away. Well I don’t want to repeat that again. Here are the pictures:
The album focuses on the people of Hong Kong, life and decay in the city. If pictures appear to be out of focus, then this is intented. All of the pictures were selected with care and taken intentionally. They form a symbiosis and work very well together. It’s a concept album and I hope it captures the spirit of this great city at least a little bit.
As always, I’m very much looking forward to your feedback.
